CONA Welcomes Heartland

Heartland Building
Coca-Cola Heartland: The heart has been put into place.

February 24, 2017 –
CONA Services officially welcomes a new bottling partner during its largest go-live weekend so far. Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company our newest independent bottler owned by Junior Bridgman, has successfully acquired territory in Missouri, Kansas, and Illinois. During the transition this weekend they successfully deployed all its sites onto CONA in one go.

Across all bottlers 33 sites went live this weekend on CONA: Coca-Cola Beverages Florida (CCBF) completed their acquisition of the sales and distribution territory as well as manufacturing operations in South Florida. Heartland and CCBF are therefore the first two bottlers with all sites fully on CONA. Great Lakes Coca-Cola Distribution completed their second Make ready Center transition in Eagan, Minnesota. Swire Coca-Cola, USA, made a tremendous addition to its west coast businesses with the transition of the Washington Marketing Unit which includes the Seattle/Tacoma Metro area.

For CONA Services it was an exciting weekend as it was not only the largest but also most complex transition to date with the go lives of sales, production and make ready centers for a new and existing bottlers at the same time. New functionality was deployed for all bottlers for the first time. Last years’ diligent preparation of the CONA team for the huge deployment wave in 2017 is a big success. We feel good about going into the March deployments of 52 sites with Coca-Cola South-West Beverages and Coca-Cola Consolidated.
