CONA Services Welcomes New Chief Financial Officer, Alan Greene.
CONA Services LLC announces the appointment of Alan Greene as Chief Financial Officer, effective June 3rd, 2024. Greene will succeed Scott Armstrong, who officially retires at the end of 2024.
Armstrong, who dedicated 35 years in The Coca-Cola System, played a pivotal role in the creation of CONA Services. He spent the last eight years of his career leading General Finance, Procurement, Legal and Human Resources services for the organization, as well as providing overall leadership for the internal teams. His expertise and dedication are why CONA would like to express gratitude for his remarkable contributions. When asked about his time with the company, Armstrong stated:
I am extremely proud and honored to have been part of this journey with CONA. This organization has been one of the most successful examples of network collaboration in the history of The Coca-Cola System. Its accomplishments are consistently driven by its people and our Bottlers’ willingness to work together. As I look back on my time, these years have been an incredibly rewarding experience for me which included fun times and gained friendships. I am sure, as CONA moves forward, it will continue to prosper and grow. Alan’s addition to the team will bring a wealth of Coca-Cola and technology financial expertise. He will be an asset in bringing new ideas and thinking to support CONA’s evolution as a company servicing our Bottlers.
Greene joins CONA with a unique blend of financial management and strategic planning experience across The Coca-Cola system and multiple B2B technology companies. He spent the first twenty years of his career with The Coca-Cola Company and Cox Communications in a variety of finance and strategy leadership roles, where he helped these organizations adapt their operational models to changing customer needs, diversify revenues and drive product innovation.
Over the past fifteen years he has served in a variety of senior leadership roles in growth-stage technology companies, during which time he successfully founded and scaled a new digital media business, and strategically repositioned two B2B technology services businesses for accelerated growth. Most recently, Greene was the CFO for a private equity-backed, B2B process automation software company.
When asked what he is most excited for as he takes on this new role, Greene stated:
I am thrilled about being part of the CONA team and the opportunity we have ahead of us. Over the next several years, large businesses who can implement emerging technology platforms at scale will generate significant benefits. CONA is incredibly well positioned to support these types of efforts, and I could not think of a more exciting place to be doing this than The Coca-Cola System.
CONA would like to reiterate thanks to Armstrong and the work he put in to making the organization what it is today. While CONA is losing a pivotal leader, the company looks forward to the future under Greene’s guidance.
